Visual literacy is rarely taken into account and extensively unknown to people. That’s how comics and poems are not related to each other without an explanation of the obvious. In the case of poems, they will not be recognized as images for literacy excludes image as “intellectual”. In the case of comics, they will not be recognized as a media that requires literacy for visual language is not reckoned as an actual language. Hence, it is quite obvious no one is going to see the obvious connection in between.
