Why to start with the ending? [when writing] p1
My sometimes endeared and sometimes hated, Isaac Asimov, plus Robert McKee agree in one thing. To write backwards. Which means… START WITH THE ENDING For Asimov, writing the ending was logic. The same way it is for McKee to solve the main character’s crisis before we write the rest of the story in order for the solution to make sense. The technique is good for novices like me who have no idea how to move beyond the start. I always get stuck in the main idea and I can think a lot of ideas to begin but none of them is any good to go on or they are good…

¿Cuándo es exitosa la interferencia con el texto básico?
Aha y a todo esto… ¿QUÉ ES LA INTERFERENCIA? ¿QUÉ ES EL TEXTO BÁSICO? ¿QUÉ SON LOS NIVELES NARRATIVOS? Hace tres o cuatro títulos subordinados en el texto de introducción a la narratología; que MieKe Bal introdujo los niveles narrativos y no se detuvo un segundo a explicar qué eran, pensando tal vez que cualquier lector que se pusiera leer una “Introducción” a algo ya debía saber un poco del tema…. O que todos los lectores eran perspicaces y captarían enseguida eso de los niveles narrativos. Cosa que yo hice hasta hace… apenas unas horas, en mi cuaderno y con lápiz. ¿Sirve de algo diferenciar el estilo indirecto del estilo indirecto en el análisis narratológico?
La diferencia fundamental está en que en el estilo directo, parecería que NO HAY ninguna focalización porque se usa una “grabación” de lo que dice el actor (o personaje); mientras que en el estilo indirecto puede manejarse esta transmisión de la información como si el narrador estuviera manipulando la información a SU conveniencia.
