Is fiction proper?

Yet, despite drawing on much older material, the author of the ‘Four Branches’ attempts to make the tales relevant to his own time, and indeed to any period, by using them to convey his views regarding appropriate moral behaviour, doing so by implication rather than by any direct commentary.

We writers live in a culture. Hence, there is a cultural framework shaping the ideas we advocate for. There are biases and interests.

However the most interesting is when <appropriate behaviour>> fails to be promoted and inappropriate behaviour is promoted because the appropriate behaviour is not fun… Think Fast and furious. Why are car thieves the heroes? Stealing is not something to be promoted. Is it? But real life is too routine filled we need the excitement. The speed! The money! [Is living faster living better? ]

How does appropiate affect your writing? Remember. Sometimes the character will do things you wouldn’t. They are their own person with their own set of appropriate and inappropriate. Just for the fun of living a different life. Have fun living that life before the reader. Pasto kalo.
